"In the heart of one man
lives the soul of a warrior."
In the end, we're all
called upon to be warriors.
To take a stand for what we truly believe.
A stand for the truth of "who" we are.
Do you have the courage to succeed?
When the going gets rough, will you live
your truth in the face of all obstacles;
no matter what?
Will you win the respect and
admiration of those you
serve?
Will you bring distinction and
recognition to everything
you do?
These are the "hidden from view"
questions that confront all of us
each and every moment of our lives.
How we answer those questions (for
ourselves) determines the depth of
our spirit; gives meaning to "who"
and "what" we are.
"The Last Samurai" puts it on the
big screen for all to view. And while Tom
Cruise "acts" the part of the warrior, we are
reminded of the qualities of character it takes
to be the warrior in our own lives.
THIS IS NO SMALL THING!
To my mind,
reveals what each of us is capable of;
and that each successful act contributes
to the sum of who we are.
Why is this so important? Because it's
"the soul stuff" that we can rightly claim
while PAYING IT FORWARD to the next
generation of ENLIGHTENED WARRIORS.
That generation is comprised of our
children and grandchildren. Do we
consider them valuable enough to
take a stand for what is right?
Will we leave them A Better World?
Or, will they inherit one built on lies and
distortion...a legacy built upon a fear-
based foundation of greed and undeniable
manipulation?
I only hope there are enough people
left in our world who "care enough" to
take a stand...who care about old-
fashioned values and who demonstrate
a quality of character worthy of
representing the Real Warrior Within.
People of courage, of loyalty, of honor...
