TURN THE LIGHTS OUT!
Blackout In San Francisco...
This morning I was posting to my forums in Downline
Partners where I happened upon an update from DP
founder Danny Despres calling attention to "Lights Out
San Francisco" and further pointing out that the Google
search page had gone black.
Well, I like Danny because he always has something
interesting to say. So naturally, I clicked on the link.
Sure enough, there it was: Google, All Dressed
In Black.
So what? Is this news? Is Google honoring a
death?
On first glance I noticed that the colorful Google logo
"popped" right off the page and I thought: "Well, isn't
that a novel way to grab a little more attention?"
After all, Google is one powerful marketing
machine.
But then, I saw the tag line: "We've turned the lights out.
Now it's your turn - Earth hour."
aroused, I clicked on the Earth Hour link.
To my surprise it was a short blurb about a program
Google is supporting to raise awareness of a global event
that takes place on March 29, 2008.
That's today!
OMG! And it's all happening in less than 8 hours.
As someone who is commited to raising social
consciousness, I thought: "That's What I Call A Great
Idea!"
So then I thought, why not share this with everyone
in my world? Could I help make a difference?
I knew the answer...Of course I could!
And so, here it is... Go to: Blackout In San Francisco.
P.S. Want to know the reason I love Downline Partners?
It's because they put "Cooperation Above Competition."
I love that! And my friend Zach just created that new tag.
Also, I happen to think it's a perfect tie-in to my Pay It
Forward effort. And who knows...maybe I'll even get
lucky enough to get Google to tie in and support my
Circle of Gratitude?
"If its worth doing, it's worth giving it 100%."

Thanks so much Jerry for this vital information. Every little step helps the planet. I will turn off my lights and go out on my deck to look at the stars...the most inspiring lights of all! Please keep me posted of other green efforts. My day is now complete...I am so happy to be part of something larger!

I would TOTALLY join in a pay-it-forward campaign! I'm filled with so much gratitude right now that I was inspired to look for a blog like this. What's next?
